Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with you and your child! It’s going to be a year full of fun, learning and lots of adventures. I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us. I thought I might tell you a little bit about me.
I am married to my awesome husband, Bradley. We have a son {Noah} who is a sophomore in college, a daughter {Lexie} who is a Freshman at IUPUI, and {Brody} who is a Second grader here at Pleasant Grove. They take up most of my free time, but some hobbies that I enjoy are traveling, crafting, activities at church & reading!
I have lived in Indiana all of my life. I went to Monroe Community Christian
School, and graduated in from Indiana University in 2004. I have a master’s in Language Education and Administration. I am one of 5 girls, so… our house was interesting growing up!
This will be my eleventh year teaching. I have taught 1st grade, k-5 English Language Learners (ENL) and 3rd Grade. It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I attempt to teach with passion in my classroom so my students develop a desire to become a life long learners. It is so important to keep communication open between us, so if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask!
